📱 SnapGO IPA Installation Guide (iPhone / iPad)
Three reliable methods to install the SnapGO IPA on iOS, with fixes for common issues.
This guide shows 3 different ways to install the SnapGO IPA on iOS.
Before You Start
You will need:
- An iPhone or iPad
- Stable internet connection
- The SnapGO IPA file
- Enough storage space on your device
Method 1 — Sign.GO (Recommended)
Fastest and easiest method when enterprise certificates are available.
Status:
⚠️ Currently unavailable because enterprise certificate is down.
Steps:
1. Open the Sign.GO app or website
2. Upload the SnapGO IPA
3. Tap Sign & Install
4. Wait for installation
5. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
6. Trust the developer profile
7. Open SnapGO
Pros:
- No PC required
- Very easy
- Fast install process
Cons:
- Depends on enterprise certificate availability
- Certificates can sometimes get revoked
Method 2 — Developer Certificate (Recommended Alternative)
Best long-term method if you have your own Developer certificate.
What You Need:
- Apple Developer certificate (you can buy one for around 10 USD from our partners)
- Signing service or signing tool (multiple free online tools)
- SnapGO IPA
Steps:
1. Import your developer certificate into your signing tool
2. Sign the SnapGO IPA
3. Install the signed IPA onto your iPhone
4. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
5. Trust your developer profile
6. Open SnapGO
Pros:
- More stable than enterprise certificates
- Less chance of revokes
- No PC needed after setup (depending on service)
Cons:
- Requires paid Apple Developer certificate
- Slightly more advanced setup
Method 3 — Sideloadly (PC Method)
Free method using a Windows or Mac computer.
What You Need:
- Windows PC or Mac
- Lightning/USB-C cable
- Apple ID
- Sideloadly official website
- SnapGO IPA
Installation Steps:
1. Install Sideloadly
2. Connect your iPhone/iPad with USB
3. Trust the computer if prompted
4. Open Sideloadly
5. Drag the SnapGO IPA into Sideloadly
6. Enter Apple ID credentials
7. Press Start and wait
8. On iPhone, trust your Apple ID profile in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
9. Launch SnapGO
Common Fixes:
- Untrusted Developer: trust the profile in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
- App Crashes On Open: certificate may be revoked; reinstall and try another signing method
- Unable to verify app: enable internet, restart device, and reinstall app
